Melding naturalism and surrealism, with an eye for bold lines and cool colour combinations, I have compiled a broad body of graphic design work which has featured on websites, in magazines, on posters, prints, and clothing. As the creative director for three online magazines, my designs have illustrated homepages, headlined blog posts, and lent vital interest to long-form articles, illuminating subject matter or just looking pretty. I have designed, typeset, and laid out the pages for posters and physical copies of the cultural magazine Culturedarm, as well as meticulously designing these magazines’ front covers.
My designs stretch from illustrated floral motifs and citrus prints to Nordic landscapes, Apulian trulli, and traditional French houses, from abstract cutouts of statues and globes to museum and urban photography. Working sometimes from my own photographs, other times illustrating from a blank canvas, occasionally incorporating and branching out from my logo designs, I work mostly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
